Enjoy the some of the best views in Summt County on a Stand Up Paddle Board on Dillon Reservoir.

Dillon Reservoir is nestled between the beautiful Ten Mile Range, the Gore Range and the Williams Fork Range, which was once at the center of the Colorado Gold rush. Before western settlers arrived the Native Utes called the area Nauncara, which meant valley of the Blue. Denver water started construction on Dillon Dam in 1961 and work was completed by 1963. With a surface area of 3,332 acres and 26 miles of shoreline. Dillon reservoir is sure to provide paddlers with more than enough water to explore and unlike the Dillon side of the reservoir, the Frisco side offers numerous islands and coves, which offer protection from our well known afternoon winds. Giberson Bay located just north of Frisco provides a great opportunity to view wildlife such as bald eagles, beavers, moose, deer and numerous waterfowl.
