It’s not just a trail ride….it’s an adventure! You will experience river crossings, beaver ponds and breathtaking panoramic views. You'll be guided through valleys of wildflowers, streams, and forests of aspens and evergreens. This is the premiere Colorado horseback riding experience throughout Breckenridge, Summit County, Leadville and the Vail Valley. If you would like more of an adventure try a guided horse camping trip. Want to pack more into your day add UTV, rafting, fishing, train rides, zip lining or jeep tours. We provide the horses and stunning backdrop; you get to relax and create lasting memories.

Breckenridge Horseback Rides

Breakfast Horseback Ride

On the Breakfast Trail Ride, you’ll spend approximately an hour and a half on horseback exploring the beautiful Breckenridge scenery between Peaks 9 and 10 on the 10 mile range above Breckenridge. After your adventures crossing rivers, riding beside beaver ponds and taking in the breathtaking panoramic views you will return to the stables to have breakfast. The breakfast includes a buffet style meal and assorted drinks as you gather with old and new friends overlooking the majestic horses below and Continental Divide beyond.

Breakfast Trail Rides are available Wednesdays and Thursdays. We leave the barn at 8am. Check in 7:45am

1.5 HRS TRAIL RIDES

Trail Rides are available 7 days a week, every 15 minutes from 8:30am-3:30pm (except no Lunch)

On a Breckenridge trail ride, you’ll spend approximately an hour and a half exploring the beautiful Breckenridge scenery between Peaks 9 and 10 on the Ten Mile range above Breckenridge. You will experience river crossings, beaver ponds and breathtaking panoramic views of the Continental Divide. With over 100 horses, our Colorado horseback riding experts are able to match each rider to a horse based on the rider’s ability and age. 

  • $100 Ages 4 and up
  • $50 Ages 0-3, Double Riders
  • $7.50 minimum booking fee on all reservations
  • $150/wrangler for private upgrades (available on any ride)

1.5 Hr DINNER TRAIL RIDES

Dinner trail rides are available Fridays and Saturdays

On Dinner Trail Ride, you’ll spend approximately an hour and a half on horseback exploring the beautiful Breckenridge scenery between Peaks 9 and 10 on the 10 mile range above Breckenridge. After your adventures crossing rivers, riding beside beaver ponds and taking in the breathtaking panoramic views you will return to the stables to have dinner. The dinner includes a buffet style meal, assorted drinks and Live Entertainment as you gather with old and new friends overlooking the majestic horses below and Continental Divide beyond.

  • $150 for Adults (13 year and Up)
  • $125  for Kids (4 years 10 12years)
  • $50 for kids 0-3)
  • $150/wrangler for private upgrades (available on any ride)

Leadville Horseback Rides

1 HOUR HORSEBACK RIDES

Leadville Area

This one hour ride takes you on trails often used by deer and elk. You’ll see views of Mt. Massive and Mt. Elbert while enjoying the beauty of mountain wildflowers. As you ride along this scenic trail you may wish to close your eyes for a moment and listen to the squeak of your saddle. Imagine the remoteness the settlers felt when they first rode into the valley over 150 years ago.

  • Ride times are 9:00am and 10:30am, 1:00pm, 2:30pm

2 1/2 HOUR HORSEBACK RIDES

Leadville Area

Two and a half hour ride times are 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. The two and a half hour ride takes you up through an evergreen forest, aspen stand and open meadows, often catching views others only dream about. You’ll see some old cabins along the way as you watch for deer and elk. The wildflowers and views of Mt. Massive and Mt. Elbert are some of the best this state has to offer. You are riding as high as eagles soar and may even see some of the Red Tail Hawks soaring over the valley beyond you.

HALF DAY HORSEBACK RIDES

Leadville Area

For those of you who just can’t get enough. You’ll see signs of deer, elk and bear as we ride high up in the Rockies. After crossing a meadow that one guest called “A Sound of Music experience” the ride goes to and above timberline. Near 12,000 at the top you will see views of a lifetime! The trail also passes an old logging camp and historic mining sites. Bring your camera and the wrangler will be glad to take your picture with the scenic mountains as your background. RIDE THE TOP OF THE ROCKIES!
