Whether you're a first-time rider or an experienced snowmobiler seeking the ride of a lifetime, we offer a variety of Tours and Snowmobile Rentals to guests of all experience and ability levels. With access to over 100 miles of groomed trails, the opportunities are limitless!

Prospector Snowmobiling Tour - 2hrs

In Leadville

This tour features groomed trails and spectacular views of 14,000 feet mountains. It’s great for families with children, single riders looking for a scenic ride, or couples who want to ride together on the same snowmobile. Groomed trails make this ride good for all levels of experience. Parents will enjoy a brief stop so children up to 70 pounds can take a turn driving a kiddie snowmobile in a snowy meadow, while other guests enjoy free-time riding in a scenic practice area. Helmets are mandatory and provided.

  • Tour Times: 9:00 a.m, 12:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m.
  • Guests must check in at Base Camp at least 30 minutes prior to tour time for Check-in.
  • $200 Single Driver
  • $80 for second person
  • 15yr old can drive with a valid Learner's Permit
  • Does not include customary guide gratuities.

Performance Tours - 2hrs

You don’t have to be an experienced snowmobiler to book this ride. This popular two-hour tour is perfect for adventurous people looking for a thrilling fast moving ride. Riders will enjoy scenic views of 14,000 foot mountains, trails through the forest, and snowy alpine meadows in the shadow of the Continental Divide. This is superb riding at altitudes from 10,000 to 12,600 feet. The Performance Tour is restricted to single riders, no passengers are allowed. Perhaps you will return to experience one of our more extreme tours on another day. Helmets are mandatory and provided.

  • Tour Times: 9:00 a.m, 12:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m.
  • Guests must check in at Base Camp at least 30 minutes prior to tour time for Check-in.
  • $250 Single Driver
  • Single Riders Only
  • Does not include customary guide gratuities.

High Adventure Tour - 2hr

In Leadville

This tour is for experienced single riders wanting a more advanced and challenging ride. No passengers are allowed. Riders will enjoy thrilling sport riding on the windswept alpine tundra, through high alpine valleys and powder filled bowls high above tree line at ‘the top of the world’. Enjoy the 360-degree panoramic views from 10,000 to 12,600 feet. Helmets are mandatory and provided.

  • Tour Times: 9:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m.
  • $300 Per Driver 
  • $60 Guide Gratuity per person will be added at Check-out
  • Check in is 30 minutes prior to tour time.
  • Single Experienced Riders Only
  • Guide Gratuity: The most experienced guides will be assigned to host Private High Adventure Tours. $45.00 Gratuity is expected and will be added for each rider at check-out.

High Adventure Tour - 3hr

In Leadville

This tour is designed for the more experienced rider seeking a personal experience on ungroomed terrain on the most sophisticated equipment. Your guide will take you to some of the best terrains in the Leadville high country. Access to our private 1,000-acre ranch just outside of Leadville provides you with a private playground of open meadows, hill climbing, tree-riding, and just all-around epic fun.

  • Tour Time: 9:00am
  • $400 Per Driver
  • $80 Guide Gratuity per person will be add at check OUT

IMPORTANT: WHAT TO WEAR & THINGS TO CONSIDER

Helmets are mandatory and provided, we do not use full face helmets. Wear warm winter clothing, (ski wear is appropriate), insulated waterproof boots, gloves, scarf or neck gator, goggles or sunglasses for eye protection. We are unable to provide clothing so guests arriving without appropriate gear cannot participate.

  • Helmets are provided. Ski helmets are not appropriate.
  • Dress in layers. Dress for Outside Winter Conditions
  • Guests must bring Goggles or Sunglasses as NO Eye Protection is not Provided
  • Bring gloves, goggles or sunglasses and neck gators. Wear facemasks required
  • Children under 4 may not participate.
  • Pregnant ladies cannot ride.
  • Gratuities for guides are greatly appreciated.
  • A credit card is required at check-in to be used in the rare event of damage.
  • A standard liability waiver must be signed before participating in any activity.
  • Alpine Event has a 48 hour cancellation policy.
